Business Development Associate

We are seeking a smart, creative, professional and motivated team player to support the strategy and business development team. This individual will work closely with members of the executive team in addition to sales, design, and finance.
Responsibilities

  •   Identify and evaluate specific business opportunities and market trends 
  •   Market research, competitive analysis, and strategic thinking about the education and edtech indusrty
  •   Create, update and maintain a complex sales pipeline in insightly CRM 
  •   Research target companies and target individuals, identify points of contact and rationale for reaching out, send targeted emails and letters, make phone calls 
  •   Write, test and continually revise B2B targeted acquisition emails using Yesware templates and email tracking 
  •   Organize and attend meetings with external parties to discuss strategic initiatives 
  •   Identify and build long-term relationships with strategic partners in pursuit of growth opportunities 
  •   Support for special projects, including working with spreadsheet and presentation software 
  •  Other administrative tasks as they arise

Must Have Skills

  •  Bachelor's from top university, with strong record of academic performance and/or Exellent record of sales and releationship management
  •  Demonstrated interest and knowledge of education, youth and technology products 
  •  Exceptional poise, business acumen, intelligence, organizational skills 
  •  Excellent attention to detail, written and oral communication skills 
  •  Strong team player who can work independently and lead others with influence 
  •  Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint 
  •  Self-starter, can-do attitude, ready to tackle any project, glamorous or not.
